Mr. Richard Bragassa established his agency upon his retirement as a Detective Sergeant with the Miami-Dade Police Department, where he served for 30 years. Richard proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, receiving an honorable discharge in 1972. The following year he started his career with the Miami-Dade Police Department. His family has lived in the South Florida area for over 100 years.

During his police career, he has held various positions of increasing responsibility and specialization. After spending 7 years in uniform patrol, Mr. Bragassa was promoted to Detective. He was assigned to work in the Headquarters Auto Theft Unit. Along with his investigative duties, Mr. Bragassa he was chosen to teach investigative techniques at the Police Academy located at Miami-Dade College, where he earned a State of Florida Teaching Certificate. 

While assigned in the Headquarters Auto Theft Unit Mr. Bragassa investigated major counterfeit vehicle title and export fraud subjects. He has the distinction of maintaining a 100% conviction record in State and Federal court throughout his 30-year career. He served 10 years on the Blue Lightning Federal Task Force, where he received cross training from the United States Customs Service. He became a designated United States Customs Officer working undercover assignments investigating white-collar crime and drug intervention.

After serving 18 years in the above assignments, Mr. Bragassa was promoted to Detective Sergeant. During that time, he retained his United States Customs Officer status and was responsible for the management of specialized equipment, and the prosecution of offenders. His Unit was responsible for the successful apprehension and prosecution of the most elusive and educated white-collar criminals. He is a Licensed Private Pilot who owns and operates his Aircraft in conjunction with his business. Mr. Bragassa is familiar with Federal Laws pertaining to Pilot Licensing and Aircraft Operation and Maintenance. During his 30 years on the Miami-Dade Police Department, he earned dozens of awards and certificates. Mr. Bragassa has a strong sense of loyalty and a sterling reputation among his peers, the States Attorneys Office, and the private sector.
